Manage, troubleshoot, and deploy infrastructure, focusing on Windows but extending to network, product, and cloud systems. Act as a subject matter expert for technical troubleshooting across managed systems and assist with incident response. Design and develop automation strategies for system management, using tools like Microsoft DSC, Terraform, and Ansible.
The Systems Engineer will work as part of our Managed Services Team providing best of breed Managed Cloud solutions to our clients in the Alternative Investment Industry responsible for delivering and supporting large-scale network, system, application, service, and business activity monitoring solutions. Primarily remote based out of our New York office, coming to the office or at client sites as needed.
Provides advice, guidance and expertise to promote adoption of methods and tools and adherence to policies and standards. Evaluates and selects appropriate methods and tools in line with agreed policies and standards. Demonstrates creativity and takes initiative in problem solving. Resolves or facilitates resolution of complex problems for assigned programs. Provides exceptional customer service to CommonSpirit end users.
